Japanese Charts: Pokémon Diamond And Pearl Remakes Stay Top, Big Brain Academy Lands In Top Three

As Switch locks out the entire top ten.

Famitsu’s Japanese chart figures are now in for the week ending 5th December, revealing that Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have remained on top for a third consecutive week.

The two games sold another 164,580 physical copies combined in Japan last week, taking their total physical sales count to just over 1.9 million. After two weeks on the market, the titles were actually outpacing the sales set by Sword and Shield back in 2019, but as their third week comes to an end, Sword and Shield’s three-week sales total of 2,023,043 leaves the Diamond and Pearl remakes playing catch up.
