‘The Batman’: Surprising Budget Reportedly Revealed

A surprising figure for the budget of Robert Pattinson’s The Batman has reportedly been revealed.

The Batman is arguably one of the most anticipated DC films in recent memory, but it appears Warner Bros. didn’t break the bank to make it. As of late, the studio has been moving away from the $200 million superhero projects under the Zack Snyder era in favor of something in the $100 million range, and it has proven to be a successful route with films like Aquaman and Joker.

According to Deadline, Robert Pattinson’s The Batman only cost the studio around $100 million. Compared to past Batman films, The Dark Knight Rises had the most significant budget with $250 million, while Tim Burton’s Batman was the cheapest to make at $35 million. Warner Bros. even spent more on Batman Begins with $150 million.

The plot of Robert Pattinson’s The Batman is being kept under lock and key, but we know the film will follow Robert Pattinson as a younger version of Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his second year as the Dark Knight of Gotham City. The film will also show off the hero using his skills as a detective more than what we’ve seen before in previous versions of the hero. It is also expected to be the first installment in a new trilogy of films with Pattinson.

Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the titular hero, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman will hit theaters on March 4, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming film, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
