The Book of Boba Fett The MandalorianDisney officially announced a new spin-off series, The Book of Boba Fett, during a post-credits scene at the end of The Mandalorian.

The Mandalorian had some incredible surprises up its sleeve to close out the second season and while many fans are still shocked over the arrival of one famous Jedi Knight, Disney also confirmed a spin-off series for the most famous bounty hunter in the Star Wars universe. Following a dramatic post-credits scene showing Fennec Shand and Boba Fett arriving at Jabba’s Palace, the show confirmed that The Book of Boba Fett will debut on the streaming service in December 2021.

The scene started with Fennec Shand blasting her way into Jabba’s Palace, now being run by his former assistant, Bib Fortuna. After Fennec saved a Twi’lek slave and left the crime boss alive, Boba Fett slowly enters the room before swiftly killing Fortuna. The bounty hunter then took his place in Jabba’s seat, suggesting that he’ll become a new crime lord in the galaxy. Disney has reportedly already begun work on The Book of Boba Fett, so hopefully we’ll learn more about the series very soon.
