A new advertisement for Disney Plus features scenes from Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movies, teasing their arrival on the streaming service.
When Disney Plus finally debuted many fans wondered if Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movies would be included on the platform thanks to the sharing agreement of the character with Sony. And although ultimately they weren’t available to watch on the service, a new ad from Disney Plus in Latin America seems to tease that they’ll soon make their way on to it. In recent news, filming has finally begun on the third film in the series, as Holland himself confirmed by sharing a new photo of himself in the red and black suit.
The Disney Plus ad can be watched on YouTube and shows brief shots of Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man in Homecoming alongside another shot of Spider-Man himself in Far From Home. Since Sony doesn’t have its own streaming service it wouldn’t be surprising if Disney has negotiated the streaming rights tot he franchise in its Spider-Man agreement with the studio. There’ll be a long wait until fans next see Tom Holland’s Web-Slinger on the big screen again, but the star has at least promised to not spoil the film after getting the script for the sequel.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks is quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks. Spider-Man and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) join forces to fight the havoc unleashed across the continent but all is not as it seems.
