Google’s Pixel 5 Includes a metal Rear, wireless charging, and costs 699

After what felt like several million escapes, Google’s flagship smartphone 2020, the Pixel 5, is now official. As we have been anticipating, this phone does not feature top notch hardware and is more mid century, using a Snapdragon 765G SoC. If you have been following the escapes, the major thing we were searching for now is the price tag, which can be $699.

The specs include a 6-inch, 2340 x 1080 OLED screen using a 90Hz refresh speed, also a Snapdragon 765G SoC, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 4080mAh battery. The telephone comes with wireless charging, 18W rapid charging over USB-C, also IP68 dust and dirt resistance. There are two cameras around the trunk, a 12MP primary camera that allegedly is the exact identical detector the Pixel lineup was using for decades, another 16MP front-facing camera lens, along with an 8MP front camera.

The Pixel 5 layout looks the same as a Pixel 4a, however a little more high-end. It’s an all-screen front containing slim bezels plus a hole-punch camera. The Pixel 5 seems like it’s completely symmetrical bezels all of the way round rather than a thicker brow on the floor like the less expensive 4a. On the rear, there is a throwback capacitive fingerprint reader–compared to this in-screen fingerprint readers many phones ship together –along with also a camera block.  The plan rear is also quite reminiscent of this Pixel 4a using a easy, one-color layout which wraps around the sides. The two-tone theme of this Pixel 4 (that had a horizontal back and forth sides) and also the Pixel 1/2/3 (that had a contrasting high half) was abandoned.
