Travis Scott is still raging, well into 2020.
Just a week after the Houston rapper had fans hyped for his new single “Franchise” by making it available for pre-order last week for only 69 cents, the song featuring Young Thug and M.I.A. officially dropped alongside a music video on Friday (Sept. 25).
Scott partnered with IMAX to make the global debut of his “Franchise” music video Thursday at select theaters at the night showings (past 7 p.m. local time) of Christopher Nolan’s film Tenet. Scott recently recorded “The Plan” for Nolan’s movie.
Nolan delivered a handwritten letter to Scott, who posted it on Twitter, about his anticipation for the world premiere of “Franchise.” “Travis– Love the video (shot on film, no less!). I can’t wait to hear it on the IMAX speakers, and see those sheep stampede across the giant screen as part of a Travis/Tenet/Travis sandwich!” the Oscar-winning filmmaker wrote.
