Zack Snyder recently addressed the possibility of another director continuing his Justice League story.
While Zack Snyder’s Justice League appears to be the end of an era, that didn’t stop the filmmaker from setting up his original plan for the DC Extended Universe. Snyder has since moved on to directing films for Netflix, but another Justice League film is inevitable.
The chances of Zack Snyder continuing his Justice League storyline are slim at this point, but the director was asked by Game Radar if another filmmaker could take a crack at a sequel to his film:
“Oh gosh, I wouldn’t have thought of that. Listen, I loved making all those DC movies, and I love superheroes, and I love the genre. I’m very excited to see Matt [Reeves]’s Batman movie [The Batman], so that’s exciting. Something like that [though], I’m not sure.”
Here is the synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:
“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”
The Snyder Cut stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J.K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
Both versions of Justice League are available on HBO Max. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Multiverse, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
