Hackers have stolen $2.3 million in the Wisconsin Republican Party which was intended to be used from the president re-election effort, officials informed the Associated Press on Thursday. The country party states it detected suspicious activity per week back and contacted the FBI last Friday.
Andrew Hitt,” the chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party, ” says the theft places Trump in a disadvantage in the nation. He also told the AP that the celebration intended to utilize the cash for last-minute demands at the last days of this race.
The theft had been executed by tampering with bills submitted to this celebration by four vendors. The altered invoices led the state GOP to deliver cash to account controlled by the hackers. The hack apparently started as a terrorist effort, Hitt told the AP.
