Tom Hardy steps into a comic accurate Wolverine costume to replace Hugh Jackman in the artistic new design of the Venom star.

While Tom Hardy might be a little busy with the Venom sequel in the pipeline, a new design sees him step into Wolverine’s iconic yellow costume for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to replace Hugh Jackman. The question of who should follow Jackman in the role has been a hot topic of conversation ever since Logan debuted back in 2017. Tom Hardy, Keanu Reeves Henry Cavill and Taron Egerton have all been popular choices among fans online – with the occasional suggestion of Dacre Montgomery or Shia LaBeouf.

The latest design of Tom Hardy as Wolverine comes from ‘mizuriau’ on Instagram and goes with a stylised look for the art. Not only is the actor given the stunning yellow and black Wolverine costume, he’s also given the mutant’s iconic hairstyle. In recent news, The Boys actor Antony Starr expressed interest in picking up the role from Hugh Jackman. Although if it comes down between Hardy and the star behind the terrifying Homelander, we’re not sure who would fit best. In the meantime, take a look at Tom Hardy as Wolverine in the art below.

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige confirmed plans to include mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during last year’s San Diego Comic-Con. However, the studio is reportedly in no rush to introduce the X-Men to the MCU, meaning it will likely be some time before we learn who will replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
