WandaVision showrunner Jac Shaeffer signed a new deal with Disney to develop more Marvel Studios and 20th Television projects in the future.
Due to COVID-19, WandaVision became the first Disney Plus series from Marvel Studios out of the gate, and it debuted to great success. The series was one of the most inventive turns from Marvel Studios yet, with Jac Shaeffer acting as the showrunner. Following WandaVision, it now looks like Shaeffer will be working on more Marvel Studios projects in the future.
Jac Shaeffer was also one of the writers behind the story of Black Widow, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, that won’t be the last Marvel project on her resume. The Hollywood trade shared Shaeffer has signed a new three-year deal with Disney to work on new projects for Marvel Studios and 20th Television.
