Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke and Italian actress Dajana Roncione have married, the musician’s rep confirmed to Billboard. The pair tied the knot over the weekend, according to reports from Vanity Fair Italy and Italian newspaper la Repubblica.
Their photographer Greg Williams also shared on Instagram photos from the event. “@thomyorke and @dajana_roncione chilling after tying the knot in Sicily last night,” Williams captioned a pic of the couple relaxing in a lavish room on Sept. 20. A second photo shows Roncione in what appears to be wedding dress, running toward the musician. Williams captioned that one: “Newlyweds @thomyorke and @dajana_roncione on Saturday night in Sicily.”
The ceremony took place in her native land of Sicily, at the Villa Valguarnera, Bagheria. Approximately 120 guests attended the nuptials, which la Repubblica reported also included the entire Radiohead band, and observed COVID-19 procedures.
Per la Repubblica (and via Google Translate), Yorke told the publication that the couple had worked with local authorities to help ensure everyone’s health and safety. Among the steps? “No dance floor,” Radiohead’s frontman is quoted as saying.
The couple began dating in 2017. Roncione, 36, starred alongside Yorke, 51, in his 2019 Netflix short film ANIMA that was attached to his solo album by the same name.
