T-Mobile Strikes back in AT&T and Verizon Following spectrum-hoarding accusations

T-Mobile US CEO Mike Sievert yesterday fired back in AT&T and Verizon, stating the carriers’ complaints regarding T-Mobile getting more spectrum permits demonstrate {} fearful of competition.

“Even the duopolists are faking to obstruct this new contest any way that they could… Suddenly from the unknown position of {} a more dominant stranglehold in the radio marketplace, and preferring to not fulfill the competitive struggle from the market, AT&T and Verizon are urging the FCC to impede T-Mobile down and pare our capacity to compete fairly for additional radio spectrum,” Sievert composed at a blog article .

As we composed Monday, Verizon and AT&T have advocated the Federal Communications Commission to enforce limitations on T-Mobile’s capacity to acquire greater spectrum licenses. AT&T whined that T-Mobile’s purchase of Sprint let it collect”an unparalleled concentration of spectrum”
