Three more Game of Thrones spin-offs are in the works at HBO alongside House of the Dragon and The Tales of Dunk and Egg.
it seems that HBO isn’t ready to let go of Game of Thrones just yet, as the network is pushing three new shows into development, one with a specific creative team already attached. Given that the franchise is a huge moneymaker it’s not surprising that HBO is keen to keep milking it. As per Deadline, Gotham creator Bruno Heller is working on 9 Voyages, also known as Sea Snake, which charts Valeryon’s epic journey around Westeros.
Meanwhile, Flea Bottom would focus on the slums of King’s Landing of the same name, which features all-manner of criminals and villains lurking in the shadows, and 10,000 ships revolves around Princess Nymeria and her army migrating from Essos to Dorne 1,000 years before the main series. After the huge backlash against Game of Thrones‘ final season, it’s interesting that HBO is pushing ahead with so many spin-offs rather than just focusing on one and making that work.

Here is the synopsis for House of the Dragon:
Based on George R.R. Martin’s book Fire & Blood, the series will tell the story of House Targaryen (a.k.a. the House that gave us the Mother of Dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen) and take place 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones.
Game of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik will serve as the showrunner with Martin and Ryan Condal. House of the Dragon stars Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, and Paddy Considine.
