Back in February 2021 Haven arrived from The Game Bakers, a stylish game that’s best played in co-op. It’s ultimately a love story about a couple, with their relationship evolving amongst all the resource gathering and rhythm-puzzle combat; we quite liked it in our Haven review.
The development team has now released a ‘Couples Update’ for free on all platforms (including Switch), which allows players to choose same-gendered options. You can play with the original Yu and Kay, or options with two women or two men, with adjustments to the characters for each option. The gameplay and story remain the same, so it simply offers alternative options for the starring couple.
