Jennifer Aniston and J.Lo Both Wore the Denim Trend I’m Replacing Skinnies With

I wouldn’t say that Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez have similar personal styles. The latter’s tends to be much more bold and experimental. But here they are wearing identical outfit formulas in the same week in the same city. Who would have thought? They were both photographed in Los Angeles wearing black turtleneck sweaters, flared jeans and top-handle bags. Are you taking notes yet?

Flared jeans happen to be one of my favourite denim trends right now—one that I’m willing to swap out my beloved skinny jeans for. In my opinion, they’re so much dressier than skinnies and help you look instantly polished. Scroll down to see how both well-dressed women style the same outfit combo and to shop similar pieces for yourself.

On Jennifer Lopez: Hermès Birkin bag

Jen and Ben are still going strong.

On Jennifer Aniston: Oliver Peoples Nisen Glasses (£297); Wolford turtleneck; Nili Lotan Oakland Jeans; Gucci Diana Bag (£2520)

This bag was named after none other than Princess Diana.

This sweater is oh so soft and is the perfect layering piece for winter.

How cute is this scallop-trim mock-neck?

Bodysuits are ideal for wearing with high-rise jeans.

These will look great with ankle boots.

Long live Levi’s.

In my opinion, dark flared jeans are the dressiest denim option out there.

“Instasculpt technology smoothes, sculpts, and conforms to your body for the perfect fit,” the brand says.

You can easily dress these jeans up with a blazer.

These cute jeans are so ’70s. Farrah Fawcett, anyone?

I love how these jeans are styled with a corset top.

I’m obsessed with these perfect jeans.

I love this light wash.

Everyone loves Good American jeans because of how comfortable they are.

My favorite under-$100 pair.

These wide-leg jeans are incredibly chic.

These jeans are giving me Y2K vibes in the best way.

This is such a classic bag.

Tory Burch never lets me down.

This looks considerably more expensive than $36.
