‘Ant-Man 3’: First Look At Jonathan Majors As Kang Revealed

Merchandise given to the stunt team of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania reveals the first look at Jonathan Majors as Kang.

In one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s biggest bombshells, it was revealed that the man behind the Time Variant Authority in Loki was none other than a variant of Kang. Dubbed as He Who Remains, the variant played by Jonathan Majors held time and space together. However, Loki’s variant Sylvie killed the final leader of the TVA, causing the multiverse to open up.

Now, Jonathan Majors is set to return as the Kang variant in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp sequel. It’s unknown just how Kang factors into the sequel, but it’s clear that Marvel Studios is building up the cosmic villain in a similar fashion that they did Thanos. With the multiverse now at the forefront of the MCU thanks to films like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, there’s no telling just how Ant-Man of all heroes will be the one to stop Kang.

Major’s look as He Who Remains was simple but things are definitely getting more comic-accurate for the Ant-Man sequel. Merchandise given to the stunt team on the film reveals the film’s official logo, as well as an image of Ant-Man’s helmet destroyed. On the other side of the helmet, the shadow of Jonathan Majors’ Kang looms as the mask remains destroyed. Though the image quality isn’t perfect, Kang can be seen wearing his traditional purple garbs, signaling an accurate, canonical look.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will hit theaters on February 17, 2023. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the film and Bill Murray’s involvement in the film and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
