Japanese Charts: Pokémon Diamond And Pearl Remakes Go Top In Tremendous Opening Weekend

Famitsu’s Japanese chart figures are now in for the week ending 21st November, revealing that Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have absolutely destroyed the competition with a cracking opening weekend.

As was actually revealed early this morning, the games managed to sell a combined total of 1,395,642 physical copies in their first three days on sale. That figure includes standard retail copies and download card purchases but doesn’t include any purchases made via the eShop, meaning that the real sales total will of course be even higher.
