‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Deleted Scene Teases Carnage’s Evil Plan

A deleted scene from Venom: Let There Be Carnage gives further insight into Carnage’s despicable, evil plan.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is set to hit home video and digital storefronts soon, which means we’ve got a lot of special features to look forward to. Among them are a series of deleted scenes that for various reasons didn’t make it into Andy Serkis’ final cut. The latest deleted scene from the Venom sequel puts the focus on Woody Harrelson’s sinister symbiote Carnage.

In the deleted scene, Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady and Naomie Harris’ Frances Barrison have reunited. As they exchange words of love on a swing that’s been created by Carnage, the symbiote throws them off and tells them this plan of creating a species that is half-human and half-symbiote, not unlike Kasady and Brock.

The CG in the scene isn’t complete and Carnage looks a bit wonky but his evil plan still comes through. It’s unclear why this plot point was dropped from the film, as it definitely adds more weight to Carnage’s overall anger. Hopefully, Andy Serkis and the cast shed upon it during the plethora of special features that will be available once the film hits home video.

Here is the synopsis for Tom Hardy’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage:

“After finding a host body in investigative reporter Eddie Brock, the alien symbiote must face a new enemy, Carnage, the alter ego of serial killer Cletus Kasady.”

Directed by Andy Serkis from a script written by Kelly Marcel, the film stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham, and Woody Harrelson.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be available digitally on November 23rd and on 4K Ultra USH, Blu-Ray, and DVD on December 14th. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the franchise and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
