New ‘No Way Home’ TV Spot References Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man

The latest TV spot for No Way Home references Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man amid the rumors of this return.

Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theaters next month, and it’s almost certain that the film will feature the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Although, there hasn’t been much footage released so far that has directly referenced them until now.

In the new Spider-Man: No Way Home TV spot, Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus makes a point that he knows a Spider-Man who’s Peter Parker but clarifies that it’s not Tom Holland’s version. This isn’t surprising since Molina shared months ago that he is playing the same Doc Ock from Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man 2. Since it looks like Sony won’t release looks at Maguire and Garfield before the film comes out, this might be the closest tease we’ll get. You can check out the new footage below.
