Andrew Garfield Says He’s No Longer Answering ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Questions

Andrew Garfield says he is no longer answering questions about his heavily rumored return in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

With Andrew Garfield promoting Tick, Tick… Boom! and The Eyes of Tommy Faye before that, the 38-year old actor has been getting Spider-Man: No Way Home questions non-stop since he’s rumored to appear.

Sony has yet to confirm the return of Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield, but there have been some images out there that strongly suggest they will both join Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In a recent GQ video of Garfield surfing the internet as himself, he declared he’s no longer answering any more Spider-Man questions:

“This is about this Spider-Men photoshop thing that we talked about on Jimmy Fallon. Listen, at this point… I’m done. We’ll all find out when the movie comes out. And we’ll either be very disappointed, or we’ll be very happy, or someone will say, ‘I told you so,’ another person will say, ‘I told you so.’ We’ll all find out. I’m sorry in advance.”

Here is the synopsis for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home:

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is umasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding Andrew Garfield’s potential return, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
