‘Hawkeye’ Star Hailee Steinfeld Talks Potential Young Avengers Team Up

Hawkeye star Hailee Steinfeld has spoken out on the potential of a Young Avengers team-up somewhere in the future.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is, for better and for worse, changing. The original versions of Captain America, Iron Man, and Black Widow are all effectively gone and are set to have some type of replacement. But now an even younger generation of heroes is coming along to, at some point, replace the old which includes Hawkeye star Hailee Steinfeld.

In the upcoming Hawkeye series, Hailee Steinfeld plays Kate Bishop who is the first female character to hold the title of Hawkeye. While nothing has been confirmed, many have speculated that Hailee Steinfeld’s character will take over the role of Hawkeye for the MCU while Jeremey Renner’s character retires in some way. While this may or may not be the case, a potential Young Avengers team-up may be on the horizon.

During the Hawkeye press conference hosted by Comicbook.com, Hailee Steinfeld was asked about the potential of a Young Avengers project. While she wouldn’t definitely confirm that anything was in the works she did say that she was looking forward to that project when and if it happens:

“That’s true. I mean, listen, this feels so crazy to me right now just sitting here with this group of people. I’m so grateful to be a part of this show in this universe and it’s it’s only the beginning. This shows not even out so I’m looking forward to that day.”

Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:

“Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.”

Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh is expected to return in her Black Widow role.

Hawkeye is set to premiere with two episodes on November 24, exclusively on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the potential future of Young Avengers and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
