See Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield Unite In ‘Spider-Man 3’

Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield suit up together for Spider-Man: No Way Home in this concept poster.

With a little over a month away from hitting theaters, anticipation for Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to grow amongst fans. The release of the first trailer back in August already amplified the hype, and the next trailer, which is set to premiere this coming Tuesday during a fan event in Los Angeles, CA, is already generating anticipation for what potential surprises are in store. In particular, fans are hopeful that we will finally get confirmation that Tom Holland will be slinging webs alongside Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

This concept poster from digital artist ArtOfTimeTravel on Instagram imagines Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield united together in Spider-Man: No Way Home, adopting the same alternate universe storyline made popular from the Academy Award-winning animated film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. You can check it out down below:

Originally, Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were planned to take part in a post-credits scene for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. However, Christopher Miller revealed that while the idea was pitched to Sony, the studio felt that such a crossover was “too soon.” If rumors are to be believed, maybe we are arriving at just the right time now.

At the very least, the highly-anticipated film will feature Tom Holland’s biggest threat thus far, thanks to the return of Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus and Jamie Foxx as Electro among other villains that include the Green Goblin.

Here is the synopsis for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home:

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is umasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
