Andrew Garfield Offers Vague Response To ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Appearance Rumors

Andrew Garfield has offered a vague, non-combative response to the rumors that suggest he’ll pop up in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

There are three things certain in life: death, taxes, and Andrew Garfield denying that he’s in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Or that is, until yesterday. You see, rumors have suggested for a year that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be popping up in the MCU Spidey threequel. Essentially, No Way Home is set to be a live-action take on the Spider-Verse concept – if the rumors are true.

However, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and Tom Holland have all consistently denied the rumors that have prevailed, even in the face of supposed leaked images. Garfield has especially done the heavy lifting, stating numerous times in lengthy statements that he’s not in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Now, Andrew Garfield has offered a new response that doesn’t necessarily deny an appearance in the upcoming MCU film. At the premiere for Tick, Tick… Boom!, Garfield was asked if he’s in Spider-Man: No Way Home and the star candidly replied “We’ll see.”

It looks like Andrew Garfield is done with denying the rumors and is ready to just let them run wild. Tick, Tick… Boom! is the last “official” project Garfield has on the docket for the year, so it’s safe to say that he won’t have to answer any more questions about Spider-Man: No Way Home until after it drops this December.

Here is the synopsis for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home:

“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is umasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the film, as well as what’s going on in Marvel Studios’ Multiverse, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
