Several Marvel Studios Films Receiving IMAX Enhanced Treatment On Disney+

13 Marvel Studios films will be getting the IMAX Enhanced upgrade on Disney Plus this Friday.

Disney Plus Day is gearing up to include a lot to look forward to. We already know that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will hit the streaming service this Friday, but that’s not all Marvel fans are getting.

On Monday, it was also announced that 13 Marvel films will be IMAX Enhanced on the streaming service. This means the select Marvel films will be offered in IMAX’s aspect ratio of 1:90:1 right at home.

The list of Marvel films that will be available in IMAX Enhanced includes Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, Black Widow, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

In addition to the news of the 13 Marvel films becoming available on Disney Plus with IMAX Enhanced, a trailer was also released, which showcases what subscribers can expect. You can check it out below.

Here is the synopsis for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings:

“Simu Liu stars as Shang-Chi in Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Shang-Chi must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.”

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a script written by David Callaham, the upcoming Marvel film stars Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Meng’er Zhang, Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu, Benedict Wong, Michelle Yeoh, Ben Kingsley and Tony Leung.
