27 H&M, Gap and M&S Autumn Pieces I Rate

In case you don’t have time to check all your favourite shopping sites on a regular basis, don’t worry—I’m here to do that for you. It’s my job to keep my finger on the fashion pulse, and part of that is maintaining an all-seeing eye over the new-in sections of every brand, from the big to the boutique, to ensure you don’t miss a beat. And this week, as I was doing my research, I couldn’t help but be impressed by the fresh new pieces on three websites—Gap, H&M, and Marks & Spencer.

While the high-street has generally been in autumn mode since September, it would appear these three brands have been saving some of their best cold-weather pieces until now, which is handy, seeing as the temperatures plummeted this week.

It goes without saying that each of these brands has very different aesthetics, but that’s what makes them a joy to shop—after all, you don’t want to see samey pieces everywhere you go. True to its current form, H&M has mastered the art of minimalist dressing with its array of incredible knits and weighty tailoring. M&S has channelled its efforts into creating some of the best affordable dresses of the season (with equally stylish boots to match). As for Gap? I can always count on the brand to deliver the best basics in my wardrobe, but this collection also boasts bonafide fashion pieces that deserve their moment in the spotlight, too. That moment comes now.

This dress also comes in a Christmas Day-ready red hue.

An excellent gateway into the knitted vest trend.

This jumper looks so much more expensive than it actually is.

The cut of these jeans is so premium, as is the deep, dark wash.

Square-toe boots are trending right now. Throw in a sublime curved heel and I’m sold.

Leopard print is always a yes from me.

This classic coat also comes in a timeless camel colourway.

This will pep up any old jean outfit.

The perfect dress to wear with my knee-high boot collection.

Beautiful, just beautiful.

Something tells me this floral dress is going to make its way into my wardrobe very, very soon.

You might not think it now, but you’ll get so much wear out of these creamy tailored trousers.

So much boot for so little cash.

Fleeces are back (yes, really), and I love the khaki hue of this oversized option.

Such an easy autumn throw-on.

I have a thing for blazers, and this brown check option will go with everything.

This versatile shade will go with just about everything you wear it with.

I had to triple-check the price of this chic boilersuit.

Speaking of boilersuits, I’m also in love with this blue number.

Shackets open up so much layering potential.

A cool take on the simple long-sleeve top.

I rarely buy new jeans, but I’m tempted to try this perfect cut.

And just like that, all I can think about is this knitted co-ord.

It comes in so many hues, you’re bound to find one you love.

Christmas jumper, but make it fashion.

Loose-fit jeans are still all the rage right now, and this pair look the authentic part.

Another excellent working from home top option from Gap.
