McFarlane Toys revealed new action figures for The Batman for its DC Multiverse line of collectibles.
With DC FanDome 2021, fans got a chance to take a look at the highly-anticipated new film, The Batman. The latest trailer gave us our closest look at characters such as Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz) and the Riddler (Paul Dano), including their unique costumes. Now, we get a closer look at their designs thanks to McFarlane Toys’ upcoming collection of action figures for its DC Multiverse line.
Three new McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse action figures were revealed, one of course featuring The Batman himself (Robert Pattinson), and the other two depicting Catwoman and the Riddler. We get more details on the design of their respective costumes, and the Riddler’s in particular is quite intriguing given its a significant departure from the comic books and a more unsettling portrayal of a serial killer.

The plot of The Batman is being kept under lock and key, but we know the film will follow Robert Pattinson as a younger version of Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his second year as the Dark Knight of Gotham City. The film will also show off the hero using his skills as a detective more than what we’ve seen before in previous versions of the hero. It is also expected to be the first installment in a new trilogy of films with Pattinson.
Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the titular hero, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.
