Ben Affleck Gets Called Out By ‘Harley Quinn’ In Season 3 Teaser

Ben Affleck got directly called out in a teaser for Season 3 of Harley Quinn.

One of the most entertaining things to come out of DC in the last few years is the adult animated series Harley Quinn. Kaley Cuoco lends her voice to the beloved character, and in its first two seasons, the show is chock-full of irreverent humor, colorful characters and just enough references to the broader DC Universe that will make every fan’s head spin. Given its irreverent humor, the show doesn’t shy away from some pretty striking jokes, and this new teaser for Season 3 even takes a playful shot at Ben Affleck.

The scene in question is taken from the official Season 3 teaser from DC FanDome. Although presented in animatic form, we see Harley Quinn hurl a tabloid reporter off of a boat, to which she exclaims the following and name drops Ben Affleck:

“Send our regards to whatever tabloid you work for! And tell Ben Affleck I upper-decked his fancy SodaStream!”

ANIMATION TAKES FOREVER! In the meantime, enjoy my Season 3 teaser filled with gorgeous coloring book pages of me and Ives. #DCFanDome pic.twitter.com/72GBpPND3r

This piece of dialogue could easily be made specifically for this DC FanDome teaser, but the idea of Ben Affleck existing as a real person within the world of Harley Quinn would be a great piece of meta humor. Season 3 of Harley Quinn is already shaping up to be something supremely entertaining from teases alone, and the animation is not even complete yet. Although no official release date is confirmed at this time, fans are eagerly anticipating what’s to come.

The animated series features the voice talents of Kaley Cuoco as Dr. Harleen Quinzel / Harley Quinn, Lake Bell as Dr. Pamela Isley / Poison Ivy, Diedrich Bader as Bruce Wayne / Batman, Alan Tudyk as Joker, Ron Funches, Wanda Sykes, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Giancarlo Esposito, Jason Alexander, J. B. Smoove, Tony Hale as Dr. Edgar Cizko / Doctor Psycho, Christopher Meloni as Commissioner James Gordon, Rahul Kohli as Dr. Jonathan Crane / Scarecrow, Sanaa Lathan as Catwoman and Alfred Molina as Mr. Freeze.

The first two seasons of Harley Quinn are is now available on HBO Max. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on Ben Affleck and the third season of the series, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel!
