There are numerous Star Wars games in development, including an open-world game from Ubisoft, a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, as well as a rumored project based around The Mandalorian. While the game based on the hit Disney Plus series hasn’t been officially announced, it makes sense that the game could be announced in a promotional event titled “Bring Home The Bounty” because, after all, bounty = bounty hunters.

Sure, that’s a stretch, but The Mandalorian game has been rumored to have been in development for quite some time, so it would make sense that Disney wants to get the Star Wars game out into the public’s mind. Beyond that, the series of events and teases are clearly centered around Bounty Hunters. Besides, this is the first year where fans aren’t going to get a season of the Disney show. Instead, Star Wars heads can look forward to a solo Boba Fett series, which still lines up with the Bounty Hunter-themed nature of the promotional event.

The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Giancarlo Esposito, Temuera Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Ming-Na Wen, Bill Burr, Timothy Olyphant, and Carl Weathers, with Rosario Dawson joining the series as Ahsoka Tano ahead of her spin-off series. The series was created by Jon Favreau and executive produced by Dave Filoni, with season two episodes also directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peyton Reed, Carl Weathers, and Robert Rodriguez.

The Mandalorian is available to stream Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the future of the Star Wars franchise, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
