‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Promo Site Features Andrew Garfield Still

A Russian promo site for Spider-Man: No Way Home features a still of Andrew Garfield’s Spidey from The Amazing Spider-Man.

The speculation train continues for Spider-Man: No Way Home. The upcoming threequel is expected to feature Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s respective Spider-Men thanks to the multiverse opening up. While Maguire hasn’t spoken about his hypothetical appearance recently, Garfield has been adamant in maintaining that he’s not in the film, despite mounting evidence suggesting otherwise.

Skittles (at least in Russia) has partnered with Marvel Studios to create tie-in products and cross-promotional advertisements for Spider-Man: No Way Home. When you make your way to the Russian Skittles site, fans are greeted with a billboard that, when pressed, plays a trailer that reads “there is no way home” when translated.

If you go on to the Russian skittles website and follow all the instructions you will see a billboard with Garfield’s Spider-Man that plays a trailer saying “there is no way home”

The thumbnail for the trailer from the tweet above is none other than Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. To be exact, the still was taken directly from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. While this doesn’t confirm anything, it is a pretty damning coincidence that the promotional team picked the one Spider-Man as the thumbnail who is adamant that he’s not part of the movie.

Here is the synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home:

“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina.

No Way Home is currently set to be released on December 17, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming film, Kevin Feige and the rest of the MCU, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
