Robert Pattinson Praises What He’s Seen Of Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’

Robert Pattinson has nothing but positive things to say about what he’s seen of Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

One of the most anticipated blockbusters coming out of Warner Bros. is Matt Reeves’ The Batman, a full reboot of the character that’s separate from the DC Extended Universe’s characters (Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton). Set to star Robert Pattinson and other indie darlings like Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Colin Farrel, and John Turturro, the film has a lot of high expectations, especially after the stellar DC FanDome trailer that premiered last year.

Ahead of DC FanDome’s second outing, Robert Pattinson has teased what fans can expect at the online fan event. In a chat with Variety, The Batman star revealed that he and co-star Zoe Kravitz have shot exclusive promotional footage for the upcoming event.

“Me and Zoë [Kravitz] did some stuff. It’s a fun little thing. There are lots of little surprises for it.”

The Good Time actor then went on to reveal that he’s seen a portion of Matt Reeves’ film.

“I’ve seen some of the movie now and it’s kind of really cool. It’s really cool.”

While Robert Pattinson doesn’t reveal much about what we can expect at DC FanDome or what Matt Reeves has shown him, we’re definitely hyped just at the thought of knowing the film is “cool”. Fans can likely expect a new trailer at DC FanDome, as well as a healthy amount of behind-the-scenes footage to keep us going until the March release date.

The plot of The Batman is being kept under lock and key, but we know the film will follow Robert Pattinson as a younger version of Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his second year as the Dark Knight of Gotham City. The film will also show off the hero using his skills as a detective more than what we’ve seen before in previous versions of the hero. It is also expected to be the first installment in a new trilogy of films with Pattinson.

Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the titular hero, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman will hit theaters on March 4, 2022. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news regarding the upcoming DC film, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content.
