‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Star Reveals ‘Star Wars’ Series’ Wrap Gifts

Obi-Wan Kenobi star Bonnie Piesse revealed the series wrap gift she received for participating in the Star Wars show.

It’s hard to believe it but Star Wars fans are finally getting an Obi-Wan Kenobi trilogy that explores the Jedi master’s time on Tatooine. The series, directed by Deborah Chow, who previously lent her talent to The Mandalorian, is set to hit Disney Plus later next year. Ewan McGregor returns as Obi-Wan Kenobi, with Hayden Christensen formally stepping into the Darth Vader suit.

Details on the series are slim beyond its time period (the series is set roughly 10 years or so after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith) but we do know that the series has wrapped filming. We also know what swag director Deborah Chan and Lucasfilm gifted the cast and crew of the Star Wars series.

Star Bonnie Piesse took to Instagram to reveal that she and the rest of the cast and crew were gifted a baseball hat and jacket. Both show the Star Wars series’ official logo, with the jacket specifically stating the word “crew” on it.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been described as a special event series for Disney Plus, and details on the upcoming Star Wars series are being hidden away on Tatooine. Still, we do know the series will feature a rematch between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith and before their final confrontation in A New Hope.

Directed by Deborah Chow from Joby Harold’s scripts, Obi-Wan Kenobi stars Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is expected to hit Disney Plus in 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming Star Wars series, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
