The Mad Hatter Gets The Spotlight In ‘Batwoman’ Season 3 Trailer

The first trailer for the third season of Batwoman shines the spotlight on The Mad Hatter.

It’s hard to believe it but Batwoman is currently promoting its third season. After a first-season casting change-up that sent waves throughout the industry, The CW found their new caped crusader in Javicia Leslie. Her performance was met with critical acclaim, with many praising the second season over the first. Now, Batwoman is back, and this time she’s brought The Mad Hatter himself to terrorize Gotham City.

The brand new trailer teases the Batwoman crew trying to get their hands on all the Batman trophies. In their journey to get them, they come across The Mad Hatter and Killer Croc, as well as Poison Ivy. While Poison Ivy does get some chilling lines in the trailer, the real star of the show is the devious and maniacal The Mad Hatter.

The villains, including The Mad Hatter and Killer Croc are clearly in pursuit of the Batman trophies, so it’ll be interesting to see if the villains team up to get the items together or face off with one another. It’s also likely that more baddies will pop up as the season goes on, so don’t get too attached to the trio we saw in the trailer.

Here is the official synopsis for Javicia Leslie’s Batwoman season two:

Season two kicks off with a major game-changer that will alter Gotham and The Bat Team forever. As the dust settles, Batwoman has everything working against her – including the recently escaped rogues’ gallery of villains – and everyone will come to see her in a whole new light. Alice meets her match when she becomes entangled with a dangerous foe from her past who knows exactly how to prey on her vulnerabilities. As Luke (Camrus Johnson) and Mary (Nicole Kang) find their footing as sidekicks, a romance will shake up their dynamic. Meanwhile, Sophie (Megan Tandy) and Julia’s (guest star Christina Wolfe) budding relationship will face its first real test and make Sophie question everything she thought she knew to be true.

Batwoman season three will premiere on October 13. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Poison Ivy, Batwoman, and the rest of the Arrowverse. Also, be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original content!
