‘Shang-Chi’: Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery Gets His Own Official Poster

Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery has received his own Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings poster.

In a shocking twist, opening weekend audiences were greeted with Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery popping up in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Ben Kingsley first appeared as the intoxicated actor in Iron Man 3, which saw his Mandarin being nothing more than a ruse to push propaganda. The actor later appeared in a Marvel One-Shot titled All Hail The King, which saw Trevor Slattery being abducted from jail to be taken to the “real” Mandarin, who was upset that Slattery was using his likeness.

And lo and behold, after nearly a decade since his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Trevor Slattery returned in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Rings, at the side of the “real” Mandarin, Tony Leung’s Wenwu. To celebrate his return, Marvel has released an official character poster for Ben Kingsley’s hilarious character. The studio also released a poster for the adorable Morris, who many have deemed to be the new Baby Yoda.

Seeing him alongside the rest of Shang-Chi’s illustrious characters not only made for good banter and jokes but also showed just how vulnerable Slattery can be.
