New ‘The Boys’ Season 3 Teaser Hints At Government Superhero Restrictions

A new teaser for Amazon’s upcoming third season of The Boys has hinted at tighter government restrictions of Vought and superheroes.

Since The Boys first debuted, the series has taken endless shots at the superhero genre, corporate culture, and everything that goes with it. Likewise, even its advertising has gone this route with superhero A-Train launching rap career with a new music video. Now the advertisement has gone even further, taking shots at Disney+ and has given us a hit at what is to come in the next season of the Amazon show.

In a newly released teaser, the Vought International YouTube channel took shots at Tucker Carlon and Fox News with a new video where parallels can’t help be drawn to Tucker Carlson Tonight. It revealed that following the events of the show’s second season, the government was implementing more restrictions on superhero activities much to the news anchor’s dismay. How this will be implemented into the show’s third seasons remains to be seen:

Here is the official synopsis for the second season of The Boys:

The even more intense, more insane season two finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.

The series stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, and Colby Minifie, and Jensen Ackles.

The Boys is available on Amazon Prime Video. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the show’s upcoming third season and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content!
