Final ‘No Time To Die’ Trailer Pays Tribute To Daniel Craig’s James Bond Run

The final trailer for No Time To Die pays tribute to Daniel Craig’s legacy as one of the most popular James Bonds.

It looks like No Time To Die will finally hit cinemas later this October. Originally scheduled to release in the April of 2020, the James Bond film was the first to delay itself over the growing concerns surrounding COVID-19. Clearly, the folks at MGM Studios had incredible foresight as shortly after, COVID-19 was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization. After suffering numerous delays, the final Daniel Craig 007 film is finally gearing up for its theatrical release.

With the film hitting cinemas in just over a month, a new trailer has been released that celebrates Daniel Craig’s lengthy tenure as James Bond, which began all the way back in 2006 with Casino Royale. The trailer features footage from all his previous missions, including Skyfall – his most successful outing yet.

The No Time To Die trailer also features tons of new footage, with a decent chunk of it focusing on Rami Malik’s Safin, a terrorist on a very personal revenge mission. Some have likened his character to Dr. No, though that remains to be seen. The new footage also captures the tension between James Bond and Dr. Madeleine Swann, 007’s love interest who first appeared in Spectre.

The trailer also features new shots of Lashana Lynch as Nomi, who took on the moniker of 007 after James Bond retired. The new footage shows the two working together, so clearly, there isn’t any bad blood between the MI6 agent.

Here is the plot synopsis for No Time To Die:

Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, No Time to Die stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, David Dencik and Dali Benssalah.
