‘Avengers: Endgame’ Directors Praise ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ For Beating Trailer Record

The Avengers: Endgame directors have congratulated Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland for breaking the team-up film’s 24-hour trailer viewership record.

Earlier this week, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios broke the internet when they released the trailer for the long-awaited Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is set to introduce a live-action Spider-Verse. The hype for the footage was so monumental that the Tom Holland-led film’s trailer broke the record for most global views in 24 hours. The trailer managed to nab a whopping 355 million views, breaking Avengers: Endgame‘s record of 289 million views in 24 hours.

It’s safe to say that Spider-Man: No Way Home could eclipse Avengers: Endgame as the biggest Marvel Studios movie ever. The Avengers: Endgame creators have no qualms against Spidey for breaking their record as the Russo Brothers took to Instagram to congratulate Tom Holland on the win.

Spider-Man: No Way Home very well could become the highest-grossing film of all time considering the film is set to debut a live-action Spiderverse. Hardocre and casual fans are hyped through the rood to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield retun as their respective Peter Parkers. Let’s not forget that the live-action Spider-Man films span two generations and nearly two decades, making it one of the most popular franchises of all time. Should the old Peter Parkers return to the new film, it’s safe to say  that fans will show up in droves.

Here is the synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home:
