‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’: Tom Holland Shares Cryptic Message Ahead Of First Trailer

Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland has shared a cryptic message teasing fans after the trailer for the film seemingly leaked online.

Sunday was a wild day for Spider-Man fans as an unfinished trailer for No Way Home seemingly dropped on the internet. The trailer was quickly removed by Sony and Marvel, though the video is still floating around the internet, so beware if you’re interested in remaining unsullied. It was unfortunate that the leak occurred as it was expected that the trailer would officially be released this week at Sony’s CinemaCon presentation, which takes place this evening.

Shortly after the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer began to spread like wildfire, Peter Parker star Tom Holland took to Instagram to share a cryptic message that teases fans for something to come. Holland states that “You ain’t ready!”, implying that something regarding No Way Home should drop soon.

Precedent suggests that once a trailer has leaked, studios quickly swoop in and capitalize on the conversation by releasing the actual trailer. This famously happened in 2014 when the trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron made its way online prior to its official debut. Sony still hasn’t debuted the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home yet, but it isn’t hard to imagine that they’ll drop it later today in conjunction with their CinemaCon presentation.

Here is the synopsis for Spider-Man: Far From Home:

“Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks is quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks. Spider-Man and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) join forces to fight the havoc unleashed across the continent but all is not as it seems.”

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, Numan Acar, J.B. Smoove, Oli Hill, Remy Hii, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

No Way Home is currently set to be released on December 17, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming film, Kevin Feige, and the rest of the MCU, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
