Norman Reedus Still Wants To Play Ghost Rider In The MCU

The Walking Dead and Death Stranding star Norman Reedus would still like to play Ghost Rider in the MCU.

Besides being known for starring in AMC’s long-running The Walking Dead series and Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, Norman Reedus has his eyes set on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Reedus has continuously expressed casual interest in the role of Ghost Rider throughout the past few years. While The Walking Dead is calling it curtains soon with its eleventh season, Reedus is set to reprise his role as Daryl Dixon in a spin-off series. Despite still holding onto his old job, Reedus is already looking forward to securing future roles, including those vacant in the MCU.

In a recent interview with Comicbook.com, Norman Reedus doubled down on wanting to star as the literal daredevil demon for the MCU.

“The Ghost Rider conversation has been coming up for years, and yeah, tell them to put me in it. I want to play Ghost Rider.”

“I want a fire skull. I want my face to turn into a fire skull and whip a chain around. That would be great.”

Norman Reedus then continued by discussing how “fun” it would be to once again work with his former The Walking Dead co-star Jon Bernthal, who appeared as Frank Castle in Daredevil and The Punisher.

“That would be great. So, I don’t know, call somebody, make that happen. I want to do it.”
