Marvel Vice President of Film Production Victoria Alonso has revealed when Hawkeye and Ms Marvel will premiere on Disney Plus.
Since the release of WandaVision on Disney Plus, the various Marvel series on the streaming service have proven to be some of the most popular series available. Each show has been more successful than the last and there is no telling when this may stop. Now it appears that Marvel will have at least two new series coming out this year on the platform.
While speaking to Variety, Marvel’s Vice President of Film Production, Victoria Alonso, revealed that both Hawkeye and Ms Marvel would premiere on Disney Plus sometime this year. While she did not reveal the release dates for the series she also indicated that a few others were on the docket as well. She did not give any indication as to what these additional shows were.

Full details on Hawkeye are currently under wraps, though the Disney Plus series will follow Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton as he prepares to pass the mantle to Kate Bishop. In the comics, Kate Bishop is the third character and first woman to assume the Hawkeye name.
Created by editors Sana Amanat and Stephen Wacker, writer G. Willow Wilson, and artists Adrian Alphona and Jamie McKelvie, Kamala Khan made her debut in Captain Marvel #14 before becoming the lead character in a solo comic series. Khan became Marvel’s first Muslim character to headline her own comic book run and the first issue of the series won the 2015 Hugo Award for Best Graphic Story.
Marvel’s upcoming slate of films includes The Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition to the aforementioned feature films, Marvel is developing several shows for Disney Plus, including Hawkeye, Ms Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Armor Wars.
