‘Daredevil’ Star Charlie Cox Pulls Out Of Convention In Time For ‘Spider-Man’ Reshoots

Daredevil actor Charlie Cox pulled out of an appearance at a convention as Spider-Man: No Way Home reshoots commence.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies for comic book fans for the rest of the year. Naturally, a brand new movie featuring the iconic webhead will be high on people’s radar, but given the possible appearances of beloved Marvel characters in the upcoming film, there’s a unique sense of excitement for this particular film compared to other entries in the MCU.

One actor who is reportedly appearing in the highly-anticipated film is Charlie Cox, who is said to reprise his role as Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil. Adding fuel to previous reports regarding his involvement with the film is the fact that he just pulled out of an appearance at the Celebrity Fan Fest at San Antonio, Texas due to “last-minute filming schedule changes.”

THE SAD NEWS:
Unfortunately, due to last-minute filming schedule changes, Charlie Cox will no longer join us for #CelebrityFanFest. But don’t worry, if you sent in an item to SWAU for an autograph or still want to, he’s graciously agreed to make sure everything gets signed.

Some fans have deciphered that Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently undergoing reshoots in Atlanta, and given the timing of Charlie Cox’s cancellation, it is possible that he could be returning to the production for such reshoots. It was previously reported that the actor wrapped on the film last December.

Charlie Cox portrayed Daredevil in three seasons of his own Netflix series and on one season of the crossover event, The Defenders. Marvel’s creative collaboration with Netflix ended in cancellation of those two series as well as Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Punisher.
