I Love Midi Dresses, And These Are the Best I’ve Found This Month

If there’s one thing you can guarantee from us at Who What Wear is that we know good dresses. We spend hours looking at the new drops every week, not to mention trawling through Instagram for more time than we’d care to admit spying for trending frocks that are about to sell out. Personally, I’m a big fan of midi dresses because as someone who’s 5’3”, it’s the perfect length. But I also genuinely believe they suit every shape and height. Midi dresses are great for summer with sandals as they are for winter with boots—they have real longevity, which I really rate.

The good news is that midi dresses seem to be everywhere this season and in an array of different trends. Whether you’re a floral person or more suited to the minimalism of shirt dresses, there’s something for everyone. While the above two roll around every year, the cut-out and green dress trends might pique the interest of those of you looking for something more directional. Keep scrolling for these and more plus our edit of the best midi dresses for women this season.

Style Notes: Alas, this Ganni dress is now sold out most places. But there are plenty of other bold floral frocks around too.

Style Notes: If you’re looking for timelss style, then the shirt dress is it. Oversized is perhaps the more 2021 way to do it.

Style Notes: The biggest dress trend by far this year? The cut-out.

Style Notes: After the cut-out trend, the knitted dress is high up there this year. While it might not seem like the ideal summer dress, there are various versions in a strappy style. But the silver lining with this one is that it’ll be perfect for autumn and winter too.

Style Notes: After pink, green is the biggest colour of the season. And in any shade. Whether fluoro, lime, pastel or khaki there are so many ways to indulge in this style.

Style Notes: Puff-sleeve dresses aren’t new but that’s great because we love them. Try one in gingham, floral, or graphic print for our favourite versions this season.
