The latest TV spot for Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow gives us another glimpse at Natasha’s childhood and other new footage from the Marvel film.
We’ve seen a little bit of Black Widow’s past teased in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, mostly in Avengers: Age of Ultron. On July 9th, we will finally see the full picture with Scarlett Johansson finally getting her solo film. Natasha ultimately meets her end in Endgame, but it seems the prequel will still lay the groundwork for future Marvel Cinematic Universe stories.

In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
