Set photos from Disney Plus’ upcoming Ms. Marvel highlight Iman Vellani’s suit.
Marvel Studios has completely changed the game by implementing television series’ into its long-gestating cinematic universe. Starting off with this year’s WandaVision, which opened up the MCU to witchcraft, to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier which introduced Sam Wilson as the next Captain America, the series’ so far have done a great job of being relevant in the grander scheme of things. Aside from Loki, which is currently airing, the next big Marvel show to keep a lookout for is Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel.
Ms. Marvel is set to be the first project in the MCU that links the “Marvels” together: Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau. Aside from that major connection to the larger MCU storyline, the Disney Plus series is set to focus on one of the youngest heroes in the MCU: Kamala Khan, who is sixteen years old in the show. Details have been relatively slim on the show, but thanks to recently surfaced set photos, fans can see Iman Vellani’s suit in all its glory. While we’ve seen glimpses of Ms. Marvel’s suit before, this is the first time we’ve gotten a clear look at it in action.

Willow Wilson, and artists Adrian Alphona and Jamie McKelvie, Kamala Khan made her debut in Captain Marvel #14 before becoming the lead character in a solo comic series. Khan became Marvel’s first Muslim character to headline her own comic book run and the first issue of the series won the 2015 Hugo Award for Best Graphic Story.
Marvel’s upcoming slate of films includes Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition to the aforementioned feature films, Marvel is developing several shows for Disney Plus, including Loki, Hawkeye, Moon Knight and She-Hulk.
