First Look At Sasha Calle’s Supergirl Suit In Ezra Miller’s ‘The Flash’

The first look at Sasha Calle’s Supergirl suit from Ezra Miller’s The Flash has officially been released.

Ezra Miller’s The Flash has been hyped up to be one of DC’s most exciting projects. Set to explore the multiverse through the iconic Flashpoint storyline, Miller’s solo Flash film will also see him teaming up with other heroes. Details are relatively slim on plot details and how exactly other heroes will interact with The Flash, but we do know who will be suiting up alongside Miller. Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will both be returning as their respective Batmans, likely as mentors to Barry Allen. As for new heroes, Sasha Calle will be joining the DC project as Supergirl.

Details are under lock and key regarding Sasha Calle’s debut as Supergirl. It’s unclear if she’ll be directly related to Henry Cavill’s Kal-El, a character from the comic books, or a completely different take on the character. While the wait for The Flash is long, director Andy Muschietti has revealed the first look at Calle’s suit. It’s traditional in nature but certainly lighter than Cavill’s suit.

Plot details for The Flash are currently unknown. Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck will return as their respective Batmen and guide Barry on this journey inspired by Geoff John’s Flashpoint. Kiersey Clemons will reprise her role as Iris West in the film, Maribel Verdú is set to play Nora Allen, and Sasha Calle will play Supergirl.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline, which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.

The Flash is set to hit theaters on June 3, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding Ezra Miller’s The Flash and the future of the DC Extended Universe, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content!
