Elizabeth Olsen Says That ‘WandaVision’ Will Likely Remain A Limited Series

Elizabeth Olsen believes that WandaVision will likely remain a limited series.

WandaVision kicked off the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with an intense fervor by not only being the first show in the franchise but also one of the most interesting, philosophical stories the series has dealt with. The series ended on a largely optimistic and conclusive note, paving the way for Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda to join Doctor Strange in his sequel as a more experienced sorceress. It has been relatively uncertain if WandaVision will get a second season but Olsen recently shot those theories down.

In a conversation with Kaley Cuoco, as part of the Variety Actors on Actors series, Elizabeth Olsen was asked if she’d be returning for a second season of WandaVision. Olsen’s answer largely confirmed that WandaVision will likely remain a limited series (the category it’s operating under for award functions) but things could potentially down the road because, well, Marvel can always change it up.

“No, it’s definitely a limited series, I mean, I’m saying that. I don’t know. With Marvel, you can never say no. Do people die? You know?” So, it sounds like that’s about over, but we’ll all have the memories of being confused by the show in the early run.”

Do you think WandaVision should get a second season? Or would you like to see Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda get her own solo film? Let us know in the comments down below!

Here is the synopsis for WandaVision:

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Matt Shakman directed the series with Jac Schaeffer as the lead scribe with Kevin Feige producing; WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Evan Peters as Ralph Bohner, and Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness.

WandaVision is available to stream on Disney Plus, while Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to hit theaters on March 25, 2022. Keep following along to stay up to date on all of the latest surrounding the upcoming MCU projects, and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
