Scarlett Johansson’s ‘Black Widow’ TV Spot Calls For The Avengers

A brand new TV spot for Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow calls for the Avengers.

After a year-long delay due to the pandemic, Marvel Studios is gearing up to release their upcoming new movie Black Widow. The film finally brings Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff into her own standalone film, and will further explore her mysterious background as she goes on a new mission introducing key figures in her past before she joined the Avengers.

A brand new TV spot prominently features newcomers Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian (David Harbour). In another quip, which is signature to the style of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Alexei jokes during their mission that they should’ve brought on the Avengers, which leads to Yelena playfully hitting him. The film takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War, and given that the Avengers have disbanded, the pain following the fallout of that film is still fresh for Natasha.
