‘WandaVision’ Star Paul Bettany Discusses White Vision’s MCU Future

WandaVision star Paul Bettany has shared his thoughts regarding White Vision’s future in the MCU.

The Disney Plus series WandaVision stands as one of the most acclaimed projects of the year thanks to its reinvention of the MCU formula and parody/homages to the sitcom genre. Of the many revelations and changes seen in the show, perhaps the biggest is the reveal of White Vision. For those who need to be caught up again, White Vision was built from the original Vision. This “new and improved” Vision also holds the memories of the old synthezoid. And while WandaVision has come to an end, it’s uncertain if White Vision has a future in the MCU.

In a recent interview with The Playlist, Paul Bettany was asked if we’ll be seeing White Vision down the road in other MCU projects.

“I can’t answer that, honestly, I have many friends around this age, for whom White Vision was like a big deal for them in the ’70s. So Kevin [Feige] and I had been talking about that for years. But I can’t remember the moment. I suspected something when we talked about draining my character of color in ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’”

The site continued to ask Paul Bettany for more hints, including if he’ll ever work with Wanda Maximoff actress Elizabeth Olsen again.

“No. I mean, I’m honest with you. I still don’t know that, I don’t have a contract. I don’t know that. I don’t know that at all. And all that I do know is, as far as this sort of traunch of press goes, it’s for an Emmy push, which is for a limited series. So it doesn’t look like that happening again.”

The actor continued by stating how it would be odd to not revisit WandaVision‘s iteration of the character in the future, especially because his existence opens up a whole new can of worms.

“I mean, I guess it would be difficult to introduce White Vision and not deal with him in some way, but we have not discussed that.”
