Stephen Colbert’s ‘The Late Show’ Gets Its Own Zack Snyder Cut

Justice League director Zack Snyder gave The Late Show with Stephen Colbert its own version of a Snyder Cut.

Love him or hate him, it’s easy to see that Zack Snyder has a few movie-making tools that he’s fond of when bringing his vision to the big screen. From plenty of CGI to a lot of slow-motion fight scenes, Snyder brings a definitive style with him wherever he goes. And it’s something that he joked with  alongside The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, as the pair imagined what the Snyder Cut of the talk show would look like.

The clip takes aim at Zack Snyder’s taste for extensive, longer cuts of his movies as Stephen Colbert reveals the episode would be 16 hours and 47 minutes long while acting against a green screen the entire time. If that wasn’t enough, Snyder also tells Colbert to imagine that his family members are about to be crushed by tank treads or eaten by zombies… But perhaps the most shocking moment comes when the director says “But yeah, suck it Warner Bros.”. Given there’s plenty of contention between Zack Snyder and the studio, that’ll no doubt get a big laugh from fans. Take a look at the Snyder cut of The Late Show below.
