Spiritfarer is undoubtedly one of 2020’s finest Indie releases, reaching 500,000 sales as word spread of its qualities. It was a shift in tone for Thunder Lotus Games – after Jotun: Valhalla Edition and Sundered: Eldritch Edition – and it undoubtedly paid off.
The developer is now teaming up with iam8bit and Skybound Games to release a physical edition, with pre-orders starting today at ‘retailers around the globe’ for launch on 27th July. Priced at $34.99/€34.99 (this is $5 more than the PS4 version, to keep you updated on the Switch tax), it’ll include “access to a 96-page digital art book, six collectible postcard and sticker stamp sets highlighting exotic locations from the game, and a digital download of the game’s soundtrack, composed by Max LL.”
