Darkseid From ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ Gets Stunning Prime 1 Studio Statue

Darkseid, as seen in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, gets a stunning new Prime 1 Studio statue.

Nearly four years after the release of the theatrical cut, Zack Snyder’s Justice League finally premiered on HBO Max. Fans not only got a chance to see the director finally fulfill his creative vision, but also saw some characters absent from the theatrical cut restored into the director’s cut. One of those characters was the beloved villain Darkseid, played by Ray Porter.

Response to the design of Darkseid as well as Ray Porter’s voice performance was well-received by fans, leaving many wishing that Zack Snyder’s vision for two sequels would come into fruition just to see more of Darkseid in the future. Although Darkseid’s cinematic future remains uncertain, fans can add this incredibly detailed new sculpture from Prime 1 Studio to their collection of DC Extended Universe statues:

In the Snyder Cut, Darkseid was set up to be the ultimate antagonist for the Justice League to face off against in Zack Snyder’s proposed sequels. The character was also expected to appear in the now-shelved New Gods film from writer/director Ava DuVernay (Selma; When They See Us).

Do you like Prime 1 Studio’s collectible statue of Darkseid? Would you like to see the character as portrayed in the Snyder Cut return in the future? Sound off in the comments below.

Here is the synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”

The Snyder Cut stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, JK Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
